I was trying to pee and get some empties out of the kitchen when I ran into some cats at midnight.

Sweet Babycakes was in the kitchen and catching some sleep on a chair cushion.

Brother Trouble was bunking in the living room.

The momcat Mister Mittens was going "fuggo bunzo" near the closet by the front door. She saw something and laid in after a gallop. We have no mice or bugs or critters so far as I know but Mister Mittens saw something with those emerald-green eyes for certain. And then she laid down to look some more into the darkness.

Tail low and straight out and not wiggling means the cat is serious about something.

Whatever was in the closet won't escape notice by a viligant cat...Mr Mittens has finely calibrated "radar" from her former life
