After today's Delaware action, I was trying to work a strategy for tonight's Mountain action up in the dirty filthy disgusting man cave. The momcat Mister Mittens was crashed on the comforter on the Castro when her children came up the stairs. Her daughter Shiloh (Sweet Babycakes) jumped up on the sofa to be with her mother. Shiloh licked her mother's head and face and then laid out alongside her. Mister Mittens licked her daughter's face and head as well and then both girls went into a nap.



The huge tomcat didn't bother with his mother or sister but sat upon the floor staring at them. He loves them both dearly and once satisfied that they were OK and napping peacefully he leaped across my recliner and across a snack table and onto a bookshelf to check out the neighborhood at one of his favorite "cat perches". He's a big guy but he is so sweet and gentle you're just happy he never had the opportunity to be a street cat full of fleas and parasites and fighting for females and territory.

Has he gotten taller? Quite a character...loves those window perches.

You could take him out during the day... on his leash around his yard

Wooley, you can rub up this neutered tomcat from head to toe roughly and he just squirms with joy and keeps coming back for more attention. His claws and teeth never come into play.

Unless she flops into your lap and lets you pet her the momcat Mister Mittens is not so friendly. That girl does not want to be touched behind her shoulders very much or be petted very much while snoozing in your lap. You can pet her but sometimes she will nip your hand gently and then glare at you with those green eyes. She's "gentle" and does not draw blood from the humans she owns. Sometimes she will be snoozing and you will reach down to pet her. She will raise a paw with "claws out" but not strike. You catch the message to leave her be.
