In a post below my dear friend bigbird914 referred to my small spayed girl cat as a "tramp". It's usually best to stay quiet and not spread gossip as a rule but I informed little Shiloh about what was said about her. Her extended left front paw in this photo pretty much explains her feelings toward the New York City Police Department and my friend bigbird914.

I am sincere as a fellow relatively new to cats. Those small soft-padded paws can go very wide and then all you see are the razor-sharp claws that come out of nowhere. God and Mother Nature have provided small cats some great weapons with which to hunt for food or fight for life if need be.

On a serious note the Bird is a wonderful fellow and I miss seeing him at the track.

Just look at those things that show up well in the photo on the right side of her extended paw - those things can tear you to shreds and she's got 12 of them just on her fronts.

When I rub her head or back or belly while she's napping she just strokes my hand and arm with the soft pink pads but there's a lot of of danger inside those small feet if the cat spreads the toes and extends the claws.
