Before going into Manhattan this morning the wife finally got her clothing together but laid out this expensive sweater upon her bed on her way out the door. Tonight, we find this at bedtime: The momcat Mister Mittens has about 400 nice warm places to go sleep for the night at our house but No! She's got to sleep on a hundred-buck sweater. No cats or sweaters were moved or injured after this photo was taken.

Cats like the fragrance of their human companions. Sleeping on your wife's sweater makes Mr Mittens "feel" happy and close to her "family". Same reason the tomcat, Trouble, sits on your desk or sleeps in your recliner.

With no 24/7 kibble being laid out anymore the momcat is learning a new way of life.
Most cats will graze and just eat what they need. A few overgraze.
