I was out in the garage today for a few reasons. I wanted to bring out another thick comforter for the deck chair on the left and I laid it out for a new enclosed cat bed. I wanted to place the new cover on the Champion generator and make sure it was ready to go in case of a prolonged power outage. And I wanted to clean the plug on the snowblower and check the oil and fire it up (it came to life first pull). I also wanted to make measurements on the side door and work a game plan for the "cat flap" so I can keep snow and stuff from blowing into the garage all winter.
The cats are using the cat condos on the deck and the new enclosed cat beds in the garage but...
Two of the three cat beds with a roof have had the roof crushed down and the whole collapsed structure made into a "cat nest" for sleep. I'm thinking some cats figure the garage has a roof and they don't need another. The roof's purpose is to trap cat heat in freezing weather but until that happens I'll leave things as they are. And no, not one cat is using any part of the garage as a latrine.
