The teen bride will be away at her sister's house somewhere in New Jersey on Christmas Day to be with all of her relatives that I do not care for.
This morning I was out to ShopRite to buy cat food, beer for the Aqueduct program and other odds and ends. I can't put away huge meals like I could forty years ago so I bought an enormous rib steak for good dollars. I'll do a nice piece of steak with a baked potato slathered in sour cream. And I'll bake some biscuits and I'll have a good veggie too with a tall glass of milk.
But I'll also have a large load of great medium-rare rib steak to dice up and lay out for the cats out back. Hey, it's Christmas for them too.
