The teen bride spent a week in Florida caring for a girlfriend after cancer surgery. The friend lives alone and is now doing well. Last night I went to JFK to meet the wife's flight and I picked her up. Before I threw her stuff into the trunk at Terminal 5 I gave her a monster hug and a quickie kiss.
We got home about 7:30. When the front door got opened all three house cats - Mister Mittens, Trouble and Shiloh - were shoulder to shoulder to greet the wife. Somehow they knew she was in the car that pulled into the driveway. And yes their tails were all pointing at the ceiling with great happiness.
The teen bride brushes all three cats every night and gives them expensive cat treats in the evening. She has never been a blip on the ASPCA radar. She will happily sleep with any cat that wants to do a nap with her in her bed. The cats like her a little bit, just like me.
