I have always regarded
Six Flings as a pure seven-furlong racehorse, but I'm going to make an exception at today's 6-1/2F hybrid distance, esp., with Ramon Dominguez taking the mount.
Have never been able to guage trainer Bernardo Callejas, and he has cost me in the past with other runners that seemed far more likely to succeed in other races and didn't run a lick, but have a feeling he may finally break out in the coming weeks.
Six Flings likes to come from well off the pace and I missed the earlier races this afternoon, but did see closer Stud Muffin win Race 4, so there's hope.
Another runner that intrigues is
Almighty Silver, though I always have less reliance on jockey Jose Espinoza to get the job done aboard any horsey. Has a shot though.
