It's been OK with temperatures into the 50s for November so the bathroom window on the main floor was open all day since it faces south and that's where the sun is. The tom trouble leaped upon the sill to catch some fresh air with his furry mouse toy in his jaws. He left it there.
With the temperature dropping in the late afternoon the beloved wife closed the bathroom window and laid the mouse toy upon the bathroom floor. Not good enough.
Off a nap the 17-pound enormous tom waltzed into the bathroom. The window was closed and his toy mouse was not where it should have been. He screamed out a cat noise and picked up his toy off the floor. He marched into the den where the bride was and dropped his toy mouse near where she was sitting at her desk. He warbled and let out some cat yowls whereupon he turned around and walked out. His tail was straight up (a good sign) but the message was clear - "Don't touch or ever f*&$% with my toy mouse."
It's always a good idea to respect the cats that allow you to live with them.
