Not, not me out of 1948 but this afternoon when I went downstairs out of the man cave for a beer the bride told me to peer outside. It was mid-afternoon with a bunch of Belmont races yet to be run.
The outside cats had loaded up on the morning's wet food and none was available until dinner but a huge dish of kibble was laid out on the driveway next to a huge bowl of water.
I saw Catty Patty and her small kitten hunched over the kibble for a feed. The kitten was rammed up against its mother but was taking in some solid food for the first time. Helluva mom is the small Catty Patty - she's a teacher.

Poor kitten. Just can't leave Mom. Maybe you could keep them together. Kitten doesn't seem to be "mentally strong"
